Salary: From $11.00 to $14.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00am - 5:30pm / 12:00pm - 5:30pm

This is an entry-level position that can be full or part-time.

Basic Job Duties:

Planning and implementing daily activities for students that are age-appropriate

Adhering to classroom schedules and maintaining order in the classroom

Assisting students with basic care needs including feeding, toilet/potty needs, etc.

Basic cleaning duties

Interacting with students in a positive, encouraging way

Interacting with parents and other staff members in a professional manner

Being dependable, reliable and have a positive disposition

Eager to learn and grow in the field of education

Adhering to all KinderKids Learning Center and Alabama DHR policies and regulations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to sit, stand, kneel. or bend for extended period of times

Ability to hear and see all students at all times

Minimum Job Requirements

Must have a diploma or GED

18 years or older

Dependable, Reliable, and strong work ethic

Ability to pass criminal history, child abuse and neglect, and medical screening

Willingness to purse CDA within 6 months of employment
