As an Account Executive at KinderSystems, your mission is to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge technology solutions within the early childhood markets, including Head Start programs. You will be a persuasive and articulate advocate, showcasing the value that KinderSystems offers to our clients. Your role entails identifying, directing, and coordinating sales opportunities in collaboration with our internal teams. Leveraging an established foundation of success, you'll expand market share using a consultative, collaborative approach with prospects. This role offers an exciting chance to represent solutions that are transforming the child care and early childhood education landscape. Account Executives are passionate about the role that technology can play in improving the entire childcare and early childhood education ecosystem in our society.
What you will do:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of KinderSystems products, services, competitive landscape, and the overall industry.
- Meet and exceed defined sales targets within your assigned territory.
- Formulate and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to your territory.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships, uncover prospect needs, and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to call campaigns and marketing initiatives to uncover new business opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying leads to conducting compelling presentations and demos, as well as attending exhibits and conferences.
- Track opportunity-related information and sales progress using KinderSystems’ CRM system, NetSuite.
- Maintain regular communication with your manager and sales team members.
- Follow up promptly on phone and email communications related to potential sales opportunities and maintain thorough records.
- Travel as required within your territory to meet with clients.
- Represent KinderSystems at conferences, events, and community engagement activities.
- Provide valuable insights to product and marketing teams regarding prospect needs in the childcare system domain.
Who you are:
- 3 - 5 years of software sales experience; preference for SaaS experience.
- Demonstrated success in selling to diverse decision-makers, including VP and C-level executives.
- Proven track record of sales achievement.
- Proficiency in presenting and demonstrating SaaS, software platforms, and mobile applications both virtually (I.e., Teams, Zoom, etc.) and in-person.
- Strong ability to build relationships, generate new business, and manage multiple prospects concurrently.
- Experience with lead generation through research and cold calling.
- Verified track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other CRM solutions.
- Expertise in consultative selling techniques, including needs assessment, proposing solutions, and closing sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills.
- Adept at working independently and collaboratively.
- Prior experience in the child care industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Competitive salary and variable compensation plan with annual On Target Earnings of $140K to $160K.
