    Kindred at Home, and its affiliates, delivers compassionate, high-quality care to patients and clients in their homes or places of residence, including non-medical personal assistance, skilled nursing and rehabilitation and hospice and palliative care. Our caregivers focus on each unique patient to deliver the appropriate care and emotional support to our patients and their families.

     

    • Administer Human Resources tests, conduct interviews and hire qualified caregivers, CNA’s and CHHA’s.
    • Submit  employee  applications  and  criminal  background  check  forms  to  the  Human Resources department for processing.
    • Conduct new employee orientation.
    • Match appropriate staff to client and ensures contract compliance.
    • Receive and asses intake and client requests for service.
    • Assign qualified staff to clients appropriately.
    • Coordinate service and facilitate communication between agency and client, family and
    • referral source.
    • Provide customer service to caregiver staff, client, family and referral sources.
    • Handle client complaints and write incident reports as necessary.
    • Strictly oversee and implement client contact requirements.
    • Monitor client progress and report unusual symptoms to Director of Private Duty.
    • Provide  input  to  the  Human  Resources  Director  on  the  revisions  of  the  company employment application, Employee Handbook, Safety Module, etc.
    • Handle  necessary  employee  discipline  fairly  and  objectively,  in  consultation  with  the Human Resources Department.
    • Provide thorough, objective and timely 90-day and annual staff performance appraisals  for all staff directly supervised.
    • Make  appropriate  hiring  and/or  termination  recommendations  and  notify  the  Human Resources Department of staffing needs.
    • Support On-Call Staffing Coordinator after business hours as necessary.
    • Respond to requests for references for past employees.
    • Respond to telephone inquiries regarding the services provided by the company.
    • Coordinate  with  Oasis  Outsourcing  in  matters  concerning  HR, Workers  Compensation, Payroll, etc.
    • Makes monthly production report according to payroll for all clients.
    • Make monthly admission report of new client referral that includes referral source.
    • Perform other related duties as requested and required.

    Required Skills

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Two  years  previous  office  experience
    • Previous supervisory experience
