    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director, Brand Ecosystem Lead.

    In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of the NYULHs internal and external brand strategy. This role requires an innovative and curious brand strategist who can take ownership of a world-class brand and ensure it comes to life in a consistent and appropriate way, regardless of the channel or use. The Director will manage a dynamic team responsible for brand standards, sponsorships, governance, and integration efforts.
    Reporting directly to the Vice President, Head of Brand, Experience, Creative & Design, this leadership role collaborates closely with the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design department to infuse the consistent and inspirational NYULH branding into all facets of work.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Brand Strategy and Management

      * Help drive the overall strategic direction of the NYULH brand, across both external and internal audiences, weaving it throughout the health system in alignment with institutional goals
      * Manage the establishment of brand identity guidelines, formulation of creative execution procedures, governance policies and enabling materials for use of brand assets
      * Preserve the NYULH brand's distinctive identity, assure its contemporary relevance, and ability to engage customer interest; formulate strategic approaches aimed at augmenting and transforming public perceptions about the brand
      * Oversee the branding guidance and governance for NYULH-related merchandise, and pursue opportunities to optimize content supply chain
      * Build and maintain relationships with external partnerships that have committed to advancing the NYULH brand
      * Install governance to enable Communications and Marketing (C&M) teams to adhere to brand standard
      * Ensure consistent brand messaging across different demographics and platforms
      * Be part of efforts to measure, analyze, and report brand performance against predetermined metrics
    

    Collaboration and Influence

      * Work closely with the Enterprise Communications Team to determine the right thought leaders to tell brand-aligned NYULH stories of impact
      * Participate in the development and implementation of the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design team’s strategy, collaborating with leaders to drive volume and reputational impact
      * Collaborate closely with marketing counterparts and interdepartmental teams to elevate strategic brand capabilities, leveraging insights, digital platforms, and innovation across the health system
    

    People Management:

      * Guide the team on how work gets done, set priorities, ensure standards are understood and adhered to
      * Ensure clarity for the vision of the team to help them understand their role in the overall strategy of the institution
      * Champion a strong continuous improvement culture and ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes
    

    Financial Responsibility:

    * Manage the allocated budget and operational forecasts of the Brand Ecosystem team, working with the Chief of Staff
    * Manage the financial arrangements and budgets for strategic brand partnerships and the brand store, working with the Chief of Staff
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
    9+ years of experience in brand strategy or marketing leadership,
    3+ years of management experience building and leading effective teams
    Experience in building brand strategies and engaging diverse audiences with sound business judgement
    Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
    Established track record of working closely and effectively with executive leadership
    Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage complex, matrixed efforts and multiple stakeholders
    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply and communicate data-driven insights
    Creative instincts and willingness to test-and-learn
    Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, teach, inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively
    Proven ability to work effectively in a highly-matrixed environment
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $138,098.48 - $184,782.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program or accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
    • Current nursing license in the practicing state. 
    • Valid drivers license, auto insurance and reliable transportation. 
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Two years experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinical setting, preferably in a home health or hospice setting.
