    As an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SPECIALIST - HOSPICE, you will:

     

    • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Ensure performance evaluations are completed and presented in a timely manner. Negotiate and maintain contracts and agreements for provision of services
    • Provide input for annual budget for the approval of the Governing Body
    • Maintain full responsibility of the overall functions of the financial areas and cost controls, adhere to financial and accounting policies and procedures and manage expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner
    • Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and Kindred policies and procedures
    • Conduct daily Stand Up Meeting. Conduct weekly managers’ meeting. Conduct weekly sales meeting. Conduct all-staff meeting at least once a month10. Act as liaison to the corporate office and attend meetings as requested
    • Receive direction from the Governing Body and implement their recommendations
    • Provide written and verbal communication to keep Governing Body apprised of organizational operations and staff activities
    • Establish and maintain ongoing public relations efforts to increase community understanding of Kindred Healthcare programs and improve relations with physicians and other care providers
    • Serve as “Administrator On-Call” as required. Provide professional development for staff and positively motivate the team to achieve service and performance excellence in all areas of the program
    • Regular attendance is to be maintained. Meet or exceed delivery of Company Service Standards and Leadership Principles

     

     

     

    Required Skills

    • RN License Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience and knowledge required
    • Masters degree in business or related field preferred
    • Experience in health care sales and/or management with P&L responsibility
    • Knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred
    • Understanding of Hospice care and the services provided to patient/family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary team
