    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director of Marketing - Clinical Services Relationship Lead.

    NYU Langone Health (NYULH) is seeking a skilled and dynamic Director of Marketing Relationships for Transplant Institute, Surgery, Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, OBGYN, Urology, and Rheumatology service lines to join our Communications & Marketing (C&M) team. This high-visibility role will serve as the Primary Relationship Lead for the listed service lines, acting in the capacity of a trusted advisor that works with them to shape communications and marketing initiatives that advance their strategy, optimize NYULH marketing efforts, and drive growth.
    Reporting directly to the Vice President, Brand Experience, Creative, & Design, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing and managing our relationship with these department chairs through sharing the communications and marketing expertise needed to achieve strategic objectives and growth targets.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Relationship Management:

    * Act as the relationship lead between C&M and respective service lines by acting as a trusted communications and marketing advisor that understands their visions and objectives, strategically helps them shape their agenda, and proactively deploys aligned marketing and communications tactics
    * Triage requests from clinical leaders and identify and organize teams in Brand, Experience, Creative, & Design COE, Content Strategy & Development COE, Media Relations COE, Program Measurement & Business Operations Platform, and Enterprise Communications COE, to harness the power of the C&M Community of Practice to deploy the right advisors and doers to realize service line goals 
    * Oversee the team deployed to execute on service line vision by providing departmental context, clear objectives, and guidelines for executing an effective strategy
    * Act as a key day-to-day partner to service line department heads, assisting in execution of marketing and communications strategies
    * Build and deploy 360-degree aligned communications and marketing strategies and plans for clinical service lines
    * Champion and integrate emerging marketing trends and technology capabilities to enhance lead and patient engagement
    * Manage the implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with growth targets and trends, tailored to service line need
    * Infuse applicable C&M strategies and current market trends to realize growth targets and priorities for patients, leads, stakeholders, and communities
    * Identify and assess new opportunities for C&M-enabled service line growth
    

    Collaboration and Influence:

    * Collaborate across teams in Brand, Experience, Creative, & Design COE, Content Strategy & Development COE, Media Relations COE, Program Measurement & Business Operations Platform, and Enterprise Communications COE to deliver campaigns that are comprehensive, aligned with strategic objectives, and optimized to maximize return on investment
    * Partner with physicians, researchers, and marketing experts to enhance content positioning and promote the latest innovations, study findings, and breakthroughs 
    * Assist in enhancing campaigns and marketing initiatives by evaluating key metrics provided by the Program Measurement & Business Operations Platform to understand effectiveness and inform continuous improvement (e.g., structure, targeting, messaging)
    

    Team Leadership and Management:

    * Track and manage key milestones for marketing and communications plans; provide review cycles and support where needed
    * Guide the team on how work gets done, set priorities, ensure standards are understood and adhered to
    * Ensure clarity for the vision of the team to help them understand their role in the overall strategy of the institution
    * Champion NYULH’s strong continuous improvement culture and ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes
    

    Financial Responsibility:

    * Manage the allocated budget and operational forecasts of the C&M relationships for **Transplant Institute, Surgery, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, OBGYN, Urology, and Rheumatology** Service Lines team, working with the Chief of Staff
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a 9+ years of experience in healthcare and/or hospital operations
    3+ years of experience managing and leading teams
    Experience partnering with physicians and/or leaders in academic medicine to define their communications and marketing strategy
    Experience with account management and supporting the success of senior leadership
    Established track record of working closely and effectively with executive leadership
    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply and communicate data-driven insights
    Extensive experience building and maintaining relationships
    Proficiency in project management, communication tools, and data analysis
    Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
    Demonstrated orientation towards client service
    Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, teach, inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively
    Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience working with some or all of the following clinical services: Transplant Institute, Surgery, Hassenfeld Childrens Hospital, OBGYN, Urology, Rheumatology
    Masters degree in communications or related field

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $146,384.38 - $194,021.10 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
