    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Associate - Faculty Group Practice. In this role, the successful candidate The position of FGP HR Associate reports directly to the FGP HR Manager and FGP Sr. HR Operations Coordinator, Ambulatory & Clinical Affiliates. This position will provide administrative support for the coordination of human resources for the Department of Clinical Affairs. A key component of this position is to assist in the management of human resources processes for the Faculty Group Practices as the department pursues its growth agenda. This position will act as liaison between supervisors and internal departments to coordinate the onboarding of physicians and employees for transitions and compliance with HR procedures for the Faculty Group/Ambulatory Practices. This position will also process bi-weekly payroll for members of the Clinical Affairs department.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Assists with the coordination for practice transitions new employee processes, both pre and post boarding that includes but not limited to: preparation and organization of new hires. Collaborates and communicates with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate and process the practice transitions of new employees and faculty.  
    • Ensures all new employees (from transitioning practices only) are appropriately in the HR system. Reviews workflow and recommends improvement if applicable to ensure appropriate cycle times and efficiency.
    • Prepares job postings for FGP/Ambulatory positions and the Office of Clinical Affairs; ensures proper job descriptions that accurately portray the specifics of the job are submitted.
    • Process biweekly payroll for members of the Clinical Affairs department; developing familiarity with HR policies regarding attendance.
    • Acts as a liaison between FGP Credentialing and HR department to ensure faculty are being onboarded in a timely manner.
    • Works on special projects as needed.  
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Two or more years of college and one year of related professional experience such as, HR or administrative operations. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to project manage and to multi task while paying attention to details is essential.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 2 Years of related experience in an office setting is preferred

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,541.60 - $61,936.78 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

    • Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (Preferred BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree.)
    • Must possess a certificate of ordination
    • Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a pastoral ministry
    • Hospice experience preferred
