    We’re looking for a BILLING ANALYST to join our team. You will report directly to the Director of Billing. You will be responsible for the oversight and operation of the billing and collection reporting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide oversight and assistance on all aspects of reporting related to billing and collection in cooperation with management.
    • Maintain and distributes reports on a regular basis.
    • Establish and maintain effective relations with community, professional groups and the staff of agencies with which the company has contractual agreements.
    • Provide management on special projects.
    • Adhere to Organization’s Policy and Procedures.
    • Assist department in carrying our various programs and procedures.
    • Act as a role model within and outside the Company.
    • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Conduct self in an honest, ethical manner.
    • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
    • Participate in administrative staff meetings, committees, and special projects.
    • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Consistently promote the company’s core values.
    • Assist in procedures needed for clean claims processing.
    • Provide education and resource development time to department personnel.
    • Collaborate with senior management in the development, and analysis of, performance metrics to ensure department operations support the achievement of the agency strategic goals and objectives.
    • Provide oversight and assistance on all aspects of reporting related to billing and collection in cooperation with management.
    • Complete required annual training.
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
    • Recommend new approaches to effect on-going continual improvements to policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
    • Communicate regularly with supervisor about department issues.
    • Perform duties as workload necessitates.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • 3 years of billing and collection experience.
    • Experience entering data into electronic systems.
    • Proficient Excel skills.
    • Proficient with HomeCare-HomeBase and other billing systems that are integral to the billing department’s success.
    • Familiarity with function of AR and all related reporting systems.
    • Ability to work with confidential information.
    • Ability to communicate clearly to field, mid-level, and executive staff.
    • Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities.
    • Exercise professional judgement and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills.
    • Well organized and confident to work independently, but is a team player.
    • Fast-paced cubicle office environment.
    • Some stress may occur.
    • Travel is required as needed.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, and to speak and hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
