  • Responsibilities

    USPI Pueblo Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated Admission Clerk/Scheduler to join our team. Pueblo Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

    Shift Start: 5:30am/6:30am

    The Admission Clerk assumes the responsibility for the coordinator of an effective, efficient admissions process for all patients by receiving referrals, gathering and verifying pertinent information, and completing necessary procedures to schedule and admit patients. Complies and inputs statistical information into appropriate facility systems. Must treat all patient and employee information as confidential.

    4. Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other facility employees.

    Required Experience

    High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum one-year relevant experience which includes knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Blue Cross, Managed Care, and generic commercial insurance.
