    Kindred at Home, and its affiliates, delivers compassionate, high-quality care to patients and clients in their homes or places of residence, including non-medical personal assistance, skilled nursing and rehabilitation and hospice and palliative care. Our caregivers focus on each unique patient to deliver the appropriate care and emotional support to our patients and their families.

     

    As an HR ASSISTANT, you will:

    • Distribute messages and faxes daily.
    • Process mail, as assigned.
    • Data Entry as assigned.
    • Process, track and log criminal history checks.
    • Conduct new hire pre-screening weekly in-group setting, as well as individual basis as needed.
    • Process employment verifications.
    • Maintain employee health notebooks.
    • Track new hire paperwork, sending forms to corporate and other locations as needed.
    • Ensure I-9s are correct.
    • Maintain plentiful supply of all hire pack paperwork.
    • Ensure attendant employee files have all required paperwork completed correctly.
    • Maintain office supply inventory, including required hire packet forms.
    • Maintain time-sheets and mileage forms, if assigned.
    • Make hire packets.
    • Work status reports twice monthly.
    • Work Social Security report every six (6) months.
    • Research unemployment claims.

     

    Required Skills

    • High school graduate, some college preferred.
    • A minimum of one-year administrative assistance experience with Human Resource components preferred.
    • Ability to work independently, effective interpersonal skills.
