    As a BILLING/REBILLING SPECIALIST, you will:

    • Research the rejection, based on the rejection code.
    • Submit a Payroll Problem to the Billing Department or a Billing Error Notice to the appropriate funding source to resolve the problem.
    • Copy all pertinent documentation and files in alphabetical order in the re-billing notebook.
    • Track and resubmit re-subs as indicated.
    • Assist with filing as necessary.
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding client/attendant information.

     

    Required Skills

    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Accounting experience preferred
    • Must be organized, detail oriented, with good math skills.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and to document pertinent information.
    • Excellent phone etiquette essential.
    • Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
