POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health Information Management Representative. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for processing requests for the release of patient information and providing customer service. Ensures that health information is maintained in accordance with established NYU Medical Center policies and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and regional, state and federal guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a High school diploma with 1-2 years of experience in an area directly related to the position or equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have knowledge of relevant computer systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Medical terminology and prior health information management experience is preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $48,583.70 - $48,583.70 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
