    Job Summary: Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides dressing assistance and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
    • Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for peri-operative nursing care according to accepted standards.
    • Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge in aseptic technique.
    • Demonstrates ability to understand the unique needs of each age group of the patient population.
    • Follows OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
    • Seeks involvement in activities that promote professional growth and behavior.
    • Uses good body mechanics and aseptic technique.
    • Remains calm and functions as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
    • Able to take vital signs and apply V/S monitors and documents appropriately.
    • Informs Manager of applicable day-to-day situations.
    • Follows employee health and other personnel and staffing policies.

    Required Experience

    Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant, current CPR. Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.

    Pay Range: $20.80-$26.67/hr
