    Shore Outpatient Surgicenter has an immediate need for a part time Receptionist/Business Office Float needed for busy, multispecialty ASC in Lakewood, N.J.

    Job Summary: The Receptionist/Business Office Float interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls. All other duties assigned by the Business Office Manager.

    Required Skills

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
    • Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
    • Medical terminology and computer experience preferred.
    • Good communication skills.
