    Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program.     Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant - NSG-Women's Health FHC - Bilingual Spanish/Graduate of accredited MA Program.

    In this role, the successful candidate The Medical Assistant performs supportive services to the health care provider and nursing staff in the care of patients in the ambulatory care setting in accordance with the policies and procedures

    Job Responsibilities:

    Daily duties include but not limited to:

    * Point of Care testing (POCT)
    * Lab draw/phlebotomy
    * Interpretation services
    * Support OBGYN provider with preparing room with all necessary supplies and instruments
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalency required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

    Required Licenses: Medical Assistant Certificate

    Preferred Qualifications:
    1-2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.

    Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $43,492.68 - $48,689.97 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of procurement experience in relevant spend categories (Marketing, Contingent Labor, Human Resources, Professional Services and Information Technology) preferably in the healthcare sector.
    • MBA or other advanced degree or CPM/CPSM certification desired
    • At least 3 years of experience managing advanced negotiations for spend categories >$50m million dollars
    • At least 3 years of experience of managing teams and/or leading cross-functional project teams
    • Experience developing and implementing category sourcing strategies with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.  Able to balance short term business priorities and developing fresh long term sourcing/category plans.
    • Very strong Analytic skills (up to and including “should cost” modelling)
    • Currency with Sourcing tools such as e-sourcing/e-auctions: comprehensive benchmarking and industry research
    • Highly developed communications skills both verbally and in writing to various audiences.
    • Detailed knowledge of the strategic sourcing/procurement lifecycle and procurement best practices with a track record of delivery across the end to end procurement value chain.
    • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
    • Willing to travel at least 20% of the time for business purposes (domestic only).
