Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate releasing of raw materials to suppliers and the scheduling of delivery appointments.
- Responsible for accurate maintenance of raw material inventory receipts and records, and timely entry of receipts into the business system.
- Monitor delivery performance of raw materials suppliers and trucking companies.
- Develop/implement new processes to improve departmental efficiency.
- Requests purchase orders for components and steel.
- Drive plant inventory reduction efforts of purchased parts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) or more years of experience in materials.
- Good computer skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
- Technical Expertise in the Purchasing/NAFTA field.
- Excellent follow up and accountability skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
