  • Responsibilities

    This position is a key member of the Productivity Sales team, focused on creating product awareness and sales engagement for Kofax’s strategic Resellers / DMR’s.  This  role is focused on Partner Development. He/she will work with the Productivity Sales team, across North America to help drive and increase Productivity sales revenues, market share, and market development. 

     

    Other Responsibilities: 

    • Create product awareness and promote Power PDF
    • Assist in driving revenue – both near term and long term opportunities
    • Work with Marketing and the productivity Sales team on a variety of Business Development campaigns including Field Marketing events, tradeshows, outbound prospecting, and networking to include lead flow

     

    GEOGRAPHY

    North America-based and with travel expected.

    • Ability to educate others and create channel awareness of PPDF. Use cases and business cases within the partner community and the entire market.
    • Understanding of the sales process and need to help support focus on qualification and execution of opportunities
    • Empathy and listening skills to work with large complex organisations
    • Communication skills, oral and written to articulate a proposition and make recommendations with facts
    • Planning and organizational skills
    • Focus and tenacity

     

    KNOWLEDGE

    • Understanding of Kofax PPDF Software market place and competitive landscape
    • Understanding of PPDF Software solution and value propositions
    • Appreciation of the role RSMs play in the enterprise software market
    • Background in content management, data integration and BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT solution sets is preferred, but not required.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • Can demonstrate past success supporting new business software sales cycles through partners
    • Past experience within a partner company or working with a partner
    • Up-to-date technical and commercial awareness of PDF solutions
    • Experience in Lead Generation and/or Business Development
    • Proven track record with references
    • 5-7 years experience, preferably in software industry
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

     

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    Primarily Reseller revenue performance aligned to the selected/assigned partner accounts, as well as other goals tied to the success and improvement of the partners in which this Business Development Manager is assigned.

     

    German & English (required)

    French (desirable)
