RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide the necessary leadership to the Die Repair colleagues to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Support the Company's mission, vision and values in performance of daily activities.
• Responsible for performance feedback and leadership of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situations dictate.
• Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
• Coordinate and assist with the tool and die apprenticeship program.
• Participate in the APQP process (design reviews, buy-off, etc.) for new dies coming to the plant.
• Assure work orders are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Supports die change operation and assist in new job set-up.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred.
• Minimum three to five years’ experience working with class "A, B & C" transfer or progressive dies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to create simple detail drawings in AutoCAD.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
