JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for accounting, including but not limited to A/R, A/P, bank rec’s and monitoring monthly accounts for profitability.
7 am – 4 pm or 3:30

Full Job Description
An employee owned Electrical Contractor has a fulltime position available for a detailed oriented individual with construction background to do Prevailing Wage payroll and compliance.
§ Payroll
- · Monitor and maintain Prevailing Wage Rates
- · Enter/Process/Print FEC Payroll and prepare direct deposit.
- · Update weekly EE Hours log
- · Update weekly project hours log.
- · Update Skilled Workforce log.
- · Provide Weekly updated skilled workforce reports to management.
- · Provide Bi-weekly journeyman to apprentice ratios to management.
- · -Stuff and mail checks
- · -Run/distribute CPR reports and copies/submit for signature, scan and email or mail recipients (Parkwest Only)
- · Run/Distribute Certified Payroll reports to AP.
- · Run monthly payroll reports.
- · Complete Fringe Benefit Statements for each job as required.
- · Complete and Mail DAS 140/142 before deadline to Apprenticeship committee. This position responsible for sending to GC, CM, Owner as well
- · Monitor payroll bank account balances and provide deposits as necessary.
- · Call in payroll taxes and provide copy to A/P to record.
- · Collect Daily’s and maintain logs
- § Subcontractor Compliance Monitoring.
- · Setup/Maintaining compliance logs
- · Track Division of Apprentice Standards Form (DAS’s)
- · Verify/provide proof of enrolled apprentices in State program.
- · Collect Apprentice graduation certificate from approved state program for Workforce development.
- · Mail and Email all labor compliance reports including CPR, fringe, etc. as required.
- · Collect all Fringe Benefit Statements (FBS’s)
- · Collect Workforce Job affidavits.
- · Verify all Subs have active License
- · Verify Subs are DIR Registered.
- · Monitor Subcontractor enrollments in OCIP
- · Monitor Subcontractor Month Reporting in OCIP (log from OCIP company)
- · Subcontractor Start-up documentation – Mail and collect.
- · Collect Monthly Trainings
- · Collect Monthly Skilled Workforce Reports
- · Collect project declaration once subcontract work is complete.
- · Safety Meeting Collections (Parkwest Subs only, not FEC Subs)
- · Update AP Clerks on status of subcontractor compliance.
- · Misc. duties as assigned.
