    Job Description

    Kinetic Personnel Group is currently recruiting for multiple Report Analyst positions for a Public Health Agency (government entity) in the Ontario, California area.

    The salary range is $65,000 to $75,000/year, with a yearly bonus, excellent benefits and CalPERS retirement pension program, total compensation year one with salary and benefits is $85,000 - $101,000/year. This company is renowned for its work in the community and being a great place to work!

    This positions is remote during COVID, and post-COVID will require you to work in the office (Ontario area).

    The Report Analyst performs multifaceted technical and analytical work and must be able to understand relational database concepts, table design and structure, data normalization and apply that knowledge to data based upon business rules and requirements. A strong understanding of data flow in healthcare domain, interoperability, data integration is desired. The Report Analyst must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Data Integration Services (SSIS), Data Definition Language (DDL), Visual Basic Applications (VBA), and Data Manipulation Language (DML).

    • Develop ad-hoc and standard monthly reports using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and MS Power BI, audit the data, research and correct discrepancies, and produce & review reports.
    • Use advanced SQL programming and Power BI skills to develop and implement system improvements to ensure processing efficiency and continuous improvement of current processes.
    • Support the Core Business Reporting Team by completing break-fixes, troubleshooting, and SQL query optimization for existing reports and development of new requests.
    • Manage the individual and team Workfront queues using the standard process for pulling work tickets to be completed within the unit’s SLA.
    • Exercise timely and accurate data mining techniques and develop new or modify existing methodologies to perform comprehensive data analysis.
    • Provide support to the Data Quality & Reporting Healthcare Data Analysts regarding audit universe data; interpreting business requirements and applying DQR best practices for reporting regulatory Audit data.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Data analysis, data presentation, spread sheet and database capabilities.
    • Working knowledge of data analysis, study methodology, and preparing professional documents.
    • Extensive knowledge TSQL/SQL development (min 3 years)
    • SSRS experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word.

    Preferred (bonus):

    • Masters degree preferred
    • Healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid experience preferred
    • Power BI, Tableau experience preferred
