    Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager

    JOB SUMMARY: HVAC & Plumbing company is seeking an experienced and seasoned HR Manager to help support all of their employees and maintain company culture and policies. As an HR Manager you will be responsible for carrying out the day-day functions of HR, and the processes associated with HR. You will implement company policies, and ensure all HR issues such as LOA’s, vacation, sick time, and all company recruiting is carried out accordingly. You will lead the HR department and communicate through various management channels to ensure the company is running safe & effectively.

    PAY: $95k-105K Annually with a Competitive Benefits Package (Including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan, etc.).

    SCHEDULE: Full-time, Mon-Friday, 8-5pm (Start time may vary)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leading & development of department

    • Leave of absences, and FMLA, ADA, WC

    • Staffing and recruitment

    • Employee retentions and relations

    • Administering and overseeing payroll

    • Benefits & compensation planning

    • Project management & strategic planning

    • Orientation & onboarding of new hires, including full cycle recruitment

    • Performance management

    • Conflict resolution and organizational behavior

    • Maintaining business relations with clients and business partners

    • Develop employee programs, and handbooks/policies as needed

    • Ensuring company stays within EEOC & state/government employee laws

    • Coordinate and direct all HR operations

    • Implement company culture, values and policies

    • Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates

    • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication

    • Advocate for employee retention and development

    • Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records

    • Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in Human Resources or other related fields
    • Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role or position
    • Experience in conflict resolution
    • Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
    • Construction/HVAC/Plumbing industry experience is a plus!
    • Ability to build rapport with all employees
    • Strong leadership qualities
    • Preferred SHRM or CPHR Certification
    • Bachelors Degree in a related field
