    Job Description

    Kinetic Personnel Group is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer for a Public Health Agency (government entity) in the Ontario, California area. The salary range is $65,000 to $85,000/year, with a yearly bonus and excellent benefits and CalPERS retirement pension program, total compensation year one with salary and benefits is around $85,000 - $110,000/year.     JOB DUTIES:

    • Lead resource in managing IT infrastructure, network operations and systems administration.
    • Ensure enterprise-level production systems are implemented, monitored, and supported to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
    • Manage overall capacity utilization of Server/hardware environment ensuring it is optimized to meet business requirements.
    • Ensures high availability of critical business systems.
    • Collaborate in creating, managing, and continuous improvement of the service delivery processes including change management, configuration management, communication, outage notification, incident reporting, metrics, and root cause analysis.
    • Overall monitoring and supervision of Infrastructure elements including but not limited to desktop & mobile computing, servers, storage management, database management, virtualization management, recovery management, threat management.
    • Responsible for all branch office information technology needs and supervision of onboarding/offboarding of new locations from a technology perspective.
    • Responsible for maintaining and enforcing security to safeguard data assets and ensure data privacy.
    • Patching and security of all endpoint devices including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile for all employees.
    • Maintain overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity).
    • Establish and implement 'best-practice' standards as well as departmental policies and procedures.
    • Implement, and maintain processes and procedures for effective delivery of services and compliance
    • Contribute to the development of IT departmental strategies to align with the overall business strategy as well as corporate strategy.
    • Implement hardware and software standards for network, servers, databases, wireless technology, file & print services, VOIP, etc.
    • Experience managing cloud infrastructure/computing environments such as AWS and Azure.
    • PowerShell scripting and process automation experience

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience within information technology.
    • Must have experience supporting Healthcare Applications and Vendors.
    • Healthcare Industry experience.
    • Must have a working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, MS SQL and core Network/Cisco technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, VLAN's, and VPN, CCTV.
