Job Description

We have a full time opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk with a well- established Transportation company that provides products and services to contractors across the nation. We are looking for a highly talented and hardworking AP Clerk who will handle full cycle AP duties including but not limited to:

• High volume invoicing
• Sort and match invoices
• Review and verify Purchase orders and Approval forms
• Scan and upload invoices in system
• Daily tracking of invoices sent to branches for approval
• Prepare Check Runs of 200 checks twice per week
• Match invoices to checks
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor files

EXPERIENCE

• Accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
• Proficient in ERP Accounting Software
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytic abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
