We are seeking a Customer Service Representative in Huntington Beach, CA. Reporting to Customer Service Manager, this person will be doing order entry, while providing customer support to callers inquiring on their order status. Hours 7am-3:30pm
Nature and Scope:
Receive and process purchase orders while checking for accuracy. 20-40 orders per day, 100+ lines.
Answer phones to provide order status, ship date or tracking number
Requires the ability to multitask, be a team player, and meet company core values.
Work with production manager and shipping to meet customer shipping requirements.
Expedite orders and advise delivery time and product availability.
Resolve problems that arise on orders and shipments.
Will be required to learn to read matrices to generate model numbers and learn a specific niche in the water treatment industry.
Assist Customer Service Manager as required and provide bac-up for other customer service representatives.
Requirements
Associates Degree or 3+ years of customer service/inside sales experience
Familiar with order entry and manufacturing processes
Technical background preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in a professional manner
Good math aptitude and excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience in IQMS is a plus
Sound decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment
