    Job Description

    MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY:

    ·      Assist with emergency response

    ·      Schedule contractors and KSC employees

    ·      Maintain a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability access

    ·      Draft and update emergency plans and evacuation procedures

    ·      Oversee security, fire prevention, and other safety systems

    ·      Ensure occupants are provided proper utilities

    ·      Buy and maintain proper tools needed to maintain facility

    ·      Inspect the building frequently for signs of damage / wear and tear

    ·      General Cleaning and larger project oversight

    SYSTEMS:

    ·      Monitor and assist in maintaining schedule, membership and all other functions on EZfacility in conjuction with GM.

    STAFF AND TRAININGS

    ·      Schedule regular building maintenance and janitorial services

    ·      Contract professionals for repairs as needed

    ·      Oversee repairs upon completion

    ·      Supervise staff as needed (Staff = front desk people, concessions people, etc)

    ·      Train staff as needed (front desk, concessions, etc)

    ·      Evaluate employees and provide feedback, constructive help, and direction

    EVENTS/DAILY GYM READINESS:

    ·      Events and tournaments will be run and staffed by the clubs hosting, but building manager will be available for emergencies, and if needed to site manage, will need to be discussed in advance by the club hosting. 3rd Party Rentals will require building representation by OM or Kinetic staff. 

    ·      Clubs will set up/ take down for events but operations manager will help with any additional/ advanced repair or set up needed.

    ·      Operations Manager will have gym set up for practices on Mondays after weekend of events.  OM in conjunction with KSC staff (as needed) will facilitate as much of the set-up and tear down of equipment as allowed in schedule and working with the clubs in conjunction as directed by the GM. 

    ·      Operations Manager and General Manager will schedule staff for concessions during the tournaments and events.

    ·      During weekends, clubs will oversee opening and closing facility unless it is an outside user. Clubs will need to communicate to GM if they need additional help opening / closing beforehand. (At least 2 weeks prior).

    SCHEDULING:

    ·      Staffing M-F opening of facility and club that is last to leave at night will close along with front desk help, unless manager is still in building.

    ·      Schedule hourly front desk employees to help keep attendance at front and help with odds and ends.

    ·      Work with club teams to schedule concessions workers during tournaments etc. Club teams will need to let manager know at least 1 month in advance of when/how many employees they need for concessions.

    ·      Make sure there are proper employees in place for tournaments, etc (porters for bathrooms etc).

    CONCESSIONS:

    ·      Monitor and track all Concession Inventory

    ·      Order all Concession Inventory

    ·      Produce and implement Concession policies and protocol to maximize time and profit

    ·      General Concession Stand Maintenance and Cleaning.

    WORK HOURS, SUPERVISOR, MISC:

    ·      Flexibly part time work hours based on current week schedule of building usage, tournaments, and maintenance.

    ·      Operations Manager will report to General Manager

    ·      Any other additional duties as directed by General Manager.

    ·      Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Physically active position.

    ·      Casual/Gym Work Attire.
