    Job Description

    In the newly created role of Vice President of Marketing, you will report to the CEO and oversee the creation of creative growth strategies for the Kinetica Streaming Data Warehouse. The VP of Marketing will create and drive a robust digital plan via SEO/SEM, social media campaigns, public relations, and digital content creation and distribution. In partnership with the product and sales teams, this role is responsible for key marketing analytics that promotes Kinetica's Streaming Data Warehouse. The VP of marketing is a member of the Kinetica Executive Leadership Team and will lead and grow the existing marketing team.

    KEY OBJECTIVES

    • Develop and execute a global, digital marketing plan in its entirety; oversee idea generation, channel growth initiatives, campaign planning and execution, and success metrics
    • Work closely with the Sales and Product Management teams to gain a deep understanding of the product roadmap and business objectives to build a go-to-market strategy and optimize brand awareness
    • Leverage experience and understanding of digital marketing approaches, mediums, and strategies to inform implementation of marketing strategies
    • Drive product and brand communication strategy to ensure consistency in messaging across each consumer touchpoint to maximize reach and ROI
    • Develop and report on key marketing analytics to ensure consistency in messaging across each consumer touchpoint and to evaluate campaign effectiveness 
    • Guide, mentor and develop existing Marketing team across content, social media, PR/communications, and creative design
  • Qualifications

    • Humble, open to feedback, passionate about collaboration
    • A track record of strategic Marketing leadership success in high growth technology companies
    • Passion for B2B enterprise marketing, open source, and SaaS business models
    • Strong understanding of all areas of marketing: communications, field and regional marketing, product marketing, community, customer advocacy, digital demand generation, international marketing, and partner marketing
    • Strong technical and or functional product background is a plus. Kinetica’s products and solutions are highly technical and the ability to understand the concepts will be highly valuable to effectively working with cross-functional teams
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field
    • Minimum 15+ years of experience in digital marketing (campaigns and analytics reporting), demand generation or marketing communications for B2B SaaS companies
    • Minimum 10+ years’ leadership and people management experience
    • Experience with the following:
      • Evolution of Brand Identity
      • Managing content roadmap Managing SEO keyword
      • Managing Public Relations
      • Marketing automation/Sales CRM tools such as Salesforce
      • User level tracking and targeting
