  • Responsibilities

    Summary: Post all income into Great Plains Accounting System, review bank transactions, research chargebacks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Post all income transactions into GP Accounting Software

    Assist the accounting manager creating financial reports

    Review and research questionable bank transactions

    Follow up with chargebacks

    Process refund requests such as publications refunds, event refunds, tithes & offering refunds

    Assist in Events receiving payments from tickets sales, distribute tickets to each Net, sort offering and count offering money when requested.

    Post all incoming transactions including: cash, credit cards, check, wires, ACH, etc.

    Update merchant processor logs

    Post Credit card fees in GP

    Complete 15 bank reconciliations

    Manage Donor management system fund set up

    Manage crypto currency donation system platform, fund set ups

    Qualifications:

    Education/Experience:

    High School Diploma; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with the four basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software (Great Plains), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
