    Marketing Manager

    Summary: Manages the Marketing & PR sub department, under the media department, that is composed of writers, marketing professionals, digital marketing supervisor, social media, web content coordinator team, and all PR strategies and execution of the ministry. The Marketing & PR Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of the organization's marketing, advertising & PR initiatives, and its timelines. They are responsible to lead successful marketing & PR for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations. The marketing & PR manager also supervises the product development of new books, and manuals through the writer’s team, clothing and preaching series for the ministry. For Public Relations, this position works and leads all communications for PR strategies working hand in hand with any department or company contracted to work the following PR areas; Networking, Crisis Management, Publicists, Image Nurturing, Outreach efforts, and Media engagement.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

    Leads and supervises, the development of pricing strategy that maximizes profits and market share but considers customer satisfaction.

    “Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company

    coordinate and follow through that the marketing professionals lead the creation of all new and existing products, from the time they are an idea all the way until they are created, promoted, and even modified/relaunched.

    Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands

    Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives

    Develop a feasible marketing plan for the sub department and oversee its day-to-day implementation

    Works with marketing professionals to Identify new customers.

    Leads marketing of sales generation efforts.

    Leads and supervises the creation of promotions with marketing professionals.

    Understanding and developing budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

    Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”

    Lead and supervise and Design/Coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)

    Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals

    Create a solid network of marketing strategies for partnerships

    Compiling lists describing our organization's offerings.

    Developing and managing advertising campaigns.

    Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

    Building brand awareness and positioning.

    Evaluating and maintaining a marketing strategy.

    Directing, planning and coordinating marketing efforts.

    Communicating the marketing plan.

    Researching demand for the organization's products and services.

    Evaluating competitors.

    Supervising the team handling social media, public relation efforts, and content marketing.

    Manage marketing calendar

    Participate in creative planning to ensure a continuous flow of content surrounding each release.

    Work with creative team to gather all necessary assets to meet delivery deadlines.

    Formulate and implement an on-going digital marketing strategy, social media rollouts, and advertising campaigns.

    Regularly conduct A/B testing and experiment with the latest trends and techniques in email marketing and ensure web properties perform at optimal capacity.

    Assist in developing new processes to streamline projects for the team.

    Develop and execute creative one-off and “always on” campaigns to collect audience data.

    Supervise the team leading email marketing campaigns to increase customer retention, open, click through rates and track ROI.

    Supervise the creation and management PPC campaigns on multiple digital platforms to grow audiences and drive conversions.

    Work with web team to ensure all digital properties are properly tagged and that conversion tracking is accurately represented in dashboards.

    Formulate influencer marketing strategy and leverage key partnerships to extend the reach of marketing campaigns.

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree (4 Year Degree); or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
