    King Jesus International Ministry, is a Christian Apostolic and Prophetic church located in Miami, Florida.

    Christianity is central to the purpose and mission of King Jesus Ministry. For this reason, the Ministry's affairs are conducted in accordance with the Bible, The Ministry's Mission, and its Statement of Faith as contained in our bylaws, as well as related policies reflecting the ministry's religious nature. Likewise, it is the ministry's policy to employ only committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Consequently, each employee is expected to review and affirm his or her agreement with such standards as a condition for employment with King Jesus Ministry, both in terms of doctrinal belief and practical application.

    King Jesus Ministry is looking for people who are experts in their fields, passionate about their career, and inspired by their Christian faith.

    Summary: Plans and directs daily accounting tasks and responsibilities within a finance department or division of an organization by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

    Oversee the Finance and Accounting functions of the ministry's Finance Department.

    Driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.

    Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.

    Communication with the finance committee, board of directors, and administration for decision making and reports.

    Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors, etc.)

    Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

    Daily Cash management (15 bank accounts), Bank System, CC processing company, cash sheets.

    Seek investing opportunities, keep banking relationships, manage risks...

    Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization.

    Review monthly royalty reports and issue payments.

    Support campuses with all finance/accounting functions.

    Oversee other entities for other departments.

    Monitor activities of the organization; special projects which arise on a weekly basis (budgets, transactions, payments)

    Negotiates for better deals, prices, etc. for the Ministry.

    Reviews & approves invoices for department internal needs.

    Reviews and approves financial portal requests for payments.

    Signs checks for payments after prior approval

    Education/Experience:BA-Accounting, Masters & CPA required; 5 to 10 years of equivalent and related experience. Certificates and Licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) required.

    Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. (Bilingual preferred)

    Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Documents, Google Calendar; accounting software (i.e. Great Plains).

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages between 20 to 25 employees among the Purchasing, Contributions & Counting, and Accounting sub-departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
