    Job Overview: The Children's Ministry Manager is responsible for providing vision, direction, teaching, and leadership development to the Supernatural Kidz Church ("SKC") ministry of King Jesus International Ministry (“KJM"). Under the leadership of the Family Department Director, the goal of SKC is to instill the knowledge of God, the Bible and the supernatural in KJM's children and families.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Recruit and train employees and volunteers for Supernatural Kidz Church (SKC) classes and events.

    Implement strategies to attract and retain volunteers, parents, teachers within the department.

    Uses appropriate child development knowledge to best meet the needs of the children in curriculum selection, child discipline, classroom grouping, etc.

    Review all curriculum material to verify correct doctrine, age appropriateness, and consistency.

    Write and timely submit all manuals, scripts & special classes for children.

    Teach in classes & retreats as needed, including online class recordings.

    Plan and coordinate the yearly teacher's conference.

    Coordinate SKC programs and conferences working cooperatively with all staff and volunteers.

    Develop a clearly defined vision and strategy for discipleship within SKC that is aligned with the Vision of KJM, and ensure all SKC programming aligns with that vision.

    Prepares the annual budget for the department, including any capital expenditures and special projects.

    Supervises and assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of all campuses children's church & corrects any necessary issues.

    Address any concerns or issues with sensitivity and confidentiality, offering appropriate guidance and resources.

    Drafts job descriptions, policies and procedures for the department's operation.

    Creates and oversees all social media and marketing campaigns and provides reports accordingly.

    Provide a safe environment for the children in SKC through consistent training on child safety, child sexual abuse, strong policies related to child safety and implementation of those policies with strong oversight.

    Ensure all volunteers and employees have been appropriately screened for working with children and trained in child protection policies and procedures.

    Proactively looks for innovative ways to improve the overall experience for children, parents and teachers.

    Collaborate with the Family Dept. Director in the coordination of current and forthcoming initiatives.

    Report to the Family Department Director on the status of department projects, department growth, implementation of new policies and procedures, implementation of new ideas, etc.

    Ensures all ministerial and legal policies are met in the department.

    Report any incidents/accidents to security and necessary staff and keep appropriate records.

    Traveling is required.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Professional Qualifications

    A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.

    Excellent understanding of planning and developing lesson plans.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Must be certified in First Aid and CPR training.

    Certification Plus: ITDS, RBT

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

    Ability to work under pressure

    Ability to to problem solve

    Education and/or Experience Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in Early Children Education or equivalent qualifications

    A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a kids ministry environment at leadership level

    Proven experience as an educator (required)

    First Aid and CPR certifications (required)
