Our client is an established and successful boutique civil engineering firm in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. With over 30 years of experience, they have built a stellar reputation in the industry. We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their close-knit team of skilled professionals. In this role, you will be actively involved in planning, designing, and managing various land development projects for commercial, residential, and government clients. Small teams and many projects afford you the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements strengthening your toolbox of skills and experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, design, and manage a range of civil engineering projects
• Take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring their smooth progression
• Utilize Civil 3D software to create plans for streets, sewers, and utilities
• Prepare detailed specifications, bidding documents, and regulatory permits
• Administer projects, attending client meetings and council/board meetings as necessary
• Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates on current and future projects

Requirements include:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on land development projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client management and collaboration within a team
