    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under general supervision, the Marketing Specialist supports Kingston Technology’s digital and channel marketing for the Canadian territory. Monitors online activity and proactively employs creative methods to drive engagement and increase brand recognition. Have a strong understanding of current marketing trends, tools, and strategies. Collaborates with sales, corporate marketing, and customers to develop campaigns from concept to execution along with successfully meeting deadlines on-budget. This position also performs other related work as required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Take ownership of marketing campaigns in Canada from implementation to reporting

    2. Proficient knowledge of Google Ads and marking analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

    3. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, corporate marketing, and digital marketing) to determine campaign budgets and goals

    4. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

    5. Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

    6. Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).

    7. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.

    8. Maintain relations with channel partners by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs

    9. Develop channel-specific marketing campaigns to increase the visibility of our products

    10. Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations to internal teams and departments.

    11. Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

    12. Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes

    13. Partner with internal marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors.

    QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

    REQUIRED:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; four (4) years or more of experience in marketing or related field.

    DESIRABLE: Computer industry, international marketing, distribution sales and marketing principal and practices.

    KNOWLEDGE: Market data analysis and procedures; advertising and promotional techniques and practices; Google Analytics experience; customer service principles and practices.

    SKILLS/ABILITIES: Self-starter, independent, self-motivated, team player, strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis. Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills. Working experience in digital marketing, computer hardware/PC gaming industry. Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marking database, optimizing landing pages and user funnels, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
