Job Description
KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for a Financial Analyst to support our sales and R&D teams. In this highly visible role, you will be closely involved in the business finance activities and interface with cross-functional and senior management teams. The ideal candidate will be able to guide the sales and R&D teams through regular planning and forecasting cycles, and review and prepare financial data to help drive key business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage monthly, semi-annual, and annual planning activities for sales and R&D groups
- Work closely with accounting and business members on month end activities including but not limiting to review and track financial data, prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Prepare, analyze and present monthly financial results
- Analyze and track expenses to help business partners gain key insights into spending
- Provide meaningful analysis of trends, variances and key metrics to management
- Review and approve purchase requisitions
- Perform ad hoc analysis, prepare financial modeling, and manage projects as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional business and analytical skills
- Have an understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Effective writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with strict deadlines
- High energy level, positive attitude and dependable team player
- Experience in Oracle and Hyperion systems a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as proficiency with PowerPoint and Word
EDUCATION:
- BS Degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 4+ years of related experience in financial planning and analysis and accounting functions in high-technology company
