    Job Description

    KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for a Financial Analyst to support our SSD BU and R&D teams. In this highly visible role, you will be closely involved in the business finance activities and interface with cross-functional and senior management teams. The ideal candidate will be able to guide the sales and R&D teams through regular planning and forecasting cycles along with identifying and communicating valuable financial insights to help drive key business decisions.

    This role reports to the Sr Manager FP&A.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage monthly, semi-annual, and annual planning activities for Sale and R & D 
    • Work closely with accounting and business members on month end activities including but not limiting to review and track financial data, prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
    • Prepare, analyze and present monthly financial results, including forecast package and P&L analysis
    • Analyze trends of operating expenses to help business partners gain key insights into spending and headcount tracking
    • Provide meaningful analysis of trends, variances and key metrics to management
    • Perform ad hoc analysis, prepare financial modeling, and lead and manage projects as required

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Exceptional business and analytical skills
    • Effective writing, presentation and communication skills
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with strict deadlines
    • High energy level, positive attitude and dependable team player
    • Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
    • Experience in Oracle and Hyperion systems a plus
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as proficiency with PowerPoint and Word

    EDUCATION:

    • BS Degree in Finance/Accounting preferred with 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis function in high-technology company
