    Job Description

    The KIOXIA Client SSD Marketing team is looking for a Technical Product Management Intern.  In this role, you would be a key member of our team owning competitive analysis and test automation.  This role will focus on the future deployment of competitor products for our key global customers.  Through your analysis and insights, the team will drive changes to our product strategy.  In addition to competitive analysis, we are looking to further automate our competitive testing suite and would love to have a creative coder to help build out our in-house infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to learn not just about storage, one of the backbones of the world’s infrastructure, but also take away transferrable skills in competitive analysis and product development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Creating scripts to automate SSD benchmark testing
    • Conducting competitive analysis by gathering data from various test scenarios
    • Creating analytical reports and charts from test data

    KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

    • Experience with Object Oriented Programming (Preferably with Python)
    • Experience with Data processing, reporting, mining, or analytics
    • Experience with shell scripting
    • A passion for data analysis and its’ real world application
    • Must have a sense of personal ownership

    Nice to have, but not required (We are happy to teach the right person):

    • Basic knowledge of SSDs
    • Working knowledge of how to build computers from components
    • Basic knowledge of running hardware benchmarks (PCMark 10, CrystalDiskMark, Iometer etc.)
