    Job Description

    KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for a Product Line Manager to own and drive product management and marketing responsibilities for KIOXIA’s portfolio of Client SSDs and lead Technical Marketing and Product Development teams to define, develop, and bring to market next-generation Client SSD products. The ideal candidate will also drive business for KIOXIA’s products, identify new applications and markets, provide customer feedback to shape future products and roadmaps, and should understand customer applications, challenges & how to solve them.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own and lead the Client SSD Product Marketing efforts on the front-end while working closely with Technical Marketing and Product Development teams on the back-end
    • Responsible for core product strategy and product swim lane leadership including market research, marketing modeling, pricing, and understanding the competitive landscape
    • Lead technical enabling activities with customers, including the creation and presentation of promotional material which showcase the benefits and technology of KIOXIA NVMe SSDs
    • Oversee pre-sales technical support to customers, including assisting technical marketing and customer support teams with RFIs, RFQs, and spec gap analyses
    • Provide PR and Marcom support to outbound marketing team including specifications, in-depth technology materials, and presentation
    • Create detailed product value propositions, product positioning, messaging and developing successful customer, sales and marketing collateral materials for your product segment
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, comparable scientific field, or demonstrated technical experience required; MBA preferred
    • Understanding of computing and storage architectures
    • Must be able to assimilate broad range of data, draw meaningful conclusions and define a coherent strategic direction - this requires excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • High standard of excellence, results, orientation, flexibility and openness to change.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within diverse, multi-cultural teams
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal as well as presentation skills
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Product Line Manager expected to own strategy and planning of assigned products & segments as well as provide internal and external leadership as to product direction
