Job Description

KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for an Information Security Specialist in the IT department. You will be responsible for managing the information security related policy and if a change is required, propose revisions of the policy document to the IT Director. You will also be responsible for gathering the company’s information, discuss security measures, and make decisions on special requirements outside the policy, such as risk assumption and risk assessments.

This role reports to the IT Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES: •    Absorb information about security technology that conforms to policy •    Perform system safety assessments •    Maintain and revise technical standards •    Provide technical advice to IT Director •    Review regular inspections as to whether the Security Policy is being implemented correctly, implements regular audits, and makes recommendations for improvements •    Plans training for employees and on-site contactors, and provides necessary texts and training manuals •    Defines the rules and procedures to implement the regulations related to Personal Information and also manage the implementation on the company •    Operate and maintain the rules and procedures

REQUIREMENTS: •    5+ years of relevant experience in Information Security •    Policy Drafting, Security Technology Research, Security Assessment, Security Training, Security Measures Implementation experience •    Experience in working with business users on Security measure implementation.

EDUCATION: •    Bachelor’s/Master’s in Science, Electrical Engineering
