Job Description
KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for a Computational Storage Intern for our San Jose office. The ideal candidate would be interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Linux kernel and its Storage stack through driver code development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop an understanding of NVMe Interface and the open source ecosystem through installation, configuration and performance measurements on modern Storage systems and devices.
- Make modifications to existing device drivers and user level applications to implement ideas and evaluate results
- Learn cross-functional skills through collaborative work with other team members
- Gain knowledge of the Innovation process and fine tune presentation skills through participation in meetings with management and technical teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Coding experience with C++ and Python or similar
- Github project and/or any open source code submissions are a plus
