As an SSD Application Performance Engineer for KIOXIA’s SSD Product Lines, you will be working closely with Product Marketing and Engineering to shape the definition of KIOXIA’s next-generation Solid State Drives (SSDs). You will evangelize the technology and benefits of KIOXIA’s SSDs to drive customer awareness and adoption of KIOXIA’s SSD solutions and also provide world-class technical marketing support to KIOXIA customers and internal cross-functional teams. 

This role reports to the Sr. Staff Engineer of the Application Performance Lab

RESPONSIBILITIES: •    Create and present compelling marketing collateral which showcases the technology and benefits of KIOXIA SSDs in application environments •    Set up and present collateral materials at trade shows and other industry events •    Design and Test Reference Architectures utilizing KIOXIA Products for publication to external customers and partners. •    Benchmark Application performance on KIOXIA SSDs, analyze test results, conduct competitive analysis and determine SSD performance requirements •    Provide exceptional marketing and technical support to external customers and internal cross-functional teams such as product marketing, product planning, product development, customer support, and sales

REQUIREMENTS: •    Interest in the computing, storage, or semiconductor fields •    Familiarity with SSD’s and storage-related technologies, including PCIe, NVMe, and NAND Flash memory desirable •    Understanding of Database technologies and DB query languages •    Excellent verbal and written communications skills •    Ability to work well autonomously and within diverse, multi-cultural teams •    Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment 

EDUCATION: •    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/MSIS or comparable field
