    KIOXIA is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a keen technical eye for detail who thrives on challenges and solving technical problems.  You will work with some of the most creative and technical minds in the industry developing leading-edge memory solutions that enables cloud/hyperscale storage solutions for some of the largest internet companies in the world.  The future of Memory is evolving at a fast pace, don’t get left behind.

    • This role will include working with hyper-scale internet companies, the open source industry (including the Linux Memory/Storage Sub System communities), developing and contributing to solutions which includes both software and hardware components.
    • Development of host software consisting of reference storage solutions and software development kits for open source platforms.
    • Work with the latest solid state storage devices and future innovative memory and storage media to enable our storage devices to thrive in a software-defined world.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSCS or BSCE degree, with at least 3 years’ experience developing Data Center Infrastructure Class, Linux Software or Enterprise Class Storage solutions in a software development organization.
    • Proficient in both C and C++ as it’s our primary development language.
    • Proficient with Linux and open source development tools including compilers, (Jira/Jenkins) debuggers, and source control utilities.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages and storage subsystems and kernel programming is highly desirable but not required.
    • Knowledge of open source industry and the open source community development process
    • Knowledge of common open source storage applications
    • Knowledge in of how storage systems are used by software applications
