Job Description
KIOXIA America Inc., formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc., is looking for a Strategic Marketing Intern for our San Jose office. The scope of work involves exploring computational storage offloads for Enterprise, Datacenter and Edge workloads. Candidates who are interested in using their C/C++/Python coding skills and explore distributed/heterogeneous computing paradigms will find this a very fulfilling experience!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Candidates with other degrees, but who want to transition to software engineering as a career, can also be considered if they can provide self-authored examples of code (e.g. Github projects, Kaggle submissions etc)
- Fluency with database systems and filesystems is a plus (will enhance candidates internship experience)
- Programming language such as Python, C++ and familiarity with code development in a Linux OS environment
- Prior experience with C-based modeling of complex systems will enhance candidate’s appreciation of the internship
- Internship location is the Kioxia campus in North San Jose (if/when County Covid-19 regulations permit) OR remote (during Covid-19 restrictions)
