    Job Description

    KAI is looking for an Outbound Communications Specialist based in San Jose, CA. Under the direction of the Director of Outbound Marketing, the ideal candidate is responsible for delivering KIOXIA campaigns and key messaging through social media, email, webinars, and other outbound marketing mechanisms, as well as exploring and promoting co-marketing opportunities with our ecosystem collaborators. Key among these responsibilities is setting and executing the social media strategy across our social media channels.

    The ideal candidate must demonstrate proven skills and experience in hands-on development, creation, and management of social media content and tactics. This role will work in highly cross-functional and fast-paced environments. The Outbound Communication Specialist must be skilled in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on our outbound activities to determine how to iterate and evolve campaigns over time. Our Outbound Communications Specialist must be creative, a self-starter, and passionate about creating engaging content and building communities across multiple platforms.

    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of our social media channels (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Glassdoor)
    • Create and coordinate social media content, email marketing, and webinars
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing and media teams when to create outbound content for use on all platforms
    • Ensure all social media, email marketing, and webinar content is consistent with branding, positioning, messaging, and over-arching campaigns.
    • Contribute to efforts to prepare and distribute news releases, photographs, videos, and related information as needed
    • Assist with event promotion and on-site execution (e.g., live social media content) as needed.
    • Increase engagement and follower rates across all channels.
    • Track and measure the success of outbound communications initiatives by using reporting and analytics.
    • Compile and manage reports for management showing results laddering up to goals and KPIs.
    • Use reporting to adjust strategy as needed.
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

    • 1-2 years of industry experience required, preferably in Hi-Tech
    • Familiar with social media platforms and tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
    • Possess the ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
    • Strategic thinker
    • Execute in a fast-paced environment
    • Possess existing influencer relations and experience
    • Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness
    • Self-confident and outgoing personality, and enjoys being in front of the camera, organized and detail-oriented.

    EDUCATION

    • BA/BS in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field
