    Job Description

    We are looking for an impact-driven experienced Logistics Manager to join our KIOXIA Team and lead the logistics management and operations of Memory/SSD products and applications products. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring KIOXIA’S logistics capability is aligned to the business strategy done by oversight of supplier relationship and performance.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management of outsource contractors (3PL), logistics planning and strategy, operational process improvement, supplier quality evaluation, review & problem resolution.  This role will report to the Director, MBU & SSD Planning & Analysis.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage logistics related strategic projects, drive strategies to execution and align cross functionally to assure operational success.
    • This position serves as a subject matter expert in logistics and understands the dynamics of the supply chain to support operational refinement and drive process improvement and innovation.
    • Monitor key performance indicators, drive performance, and expense management. 
    • In addition to quality and cost, the R&R is to realize optimal logistics while responding to a wide range of security and environmental aspects based on the laws and regulations of each country.

       

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Business, or related field required. MBA or advanced analytical degree is preferred. 
    • 7+ years of related work experience
    • Proven experience in managing 3PL service providers is required
    • The candidate must able to handle multiple projects on short deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Experience with component purchasing, inventory management, and project management in the electronics, mechanical or semiconductor field is preferred.
    • Experience in manufacturing or with manufacturing background would be preferred.
    • Experience working cross-culturally on global categories, with leadership, influencing and communication skills gained across a range of cultural environments
    • Familiarity with product management and development approaches, including consumer insights and competitive product analysis
    • Deep understanding and working experience in rigorous cost savings approaches and analytics, such as TCO method, CapEx, OpEx, spend analytics, risk mitigation, etc.
