Position Overview:

We seek a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst specializing in data science, you'll translate business requirements into actionable insights, employ data science methodologies for decision-making, and champion continuous improvement through analysis and visualization. Candidates must grasp business processes, objectives, and challenges swiftly, identifying how data science elevates outcomes and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, discern business needs, define project objectives, and implement data science solutions.
• Data Collection and Preparation: Work with data engineers to gather, clean, and prep data, ensuring quality and integrity.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Extract insights from complex datasets, identify trends, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Model Development Oversight: Guide model development, define project objectives, select techniques, evaluate performance, and ensure scalability.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track KPIs, monitor progress, and optimize processes based on data insights.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, stakeholders, and IT professionals to align business objectives with data-driven solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of data science trends, enhancing skills to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field; Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with data science focus.
• Proficiency in machine learning models, monitoring, and implementation in production.
• Strong statistical and machine learning metric evaluation skills.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
