    Job Description

    We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, and motivated salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing your respective book of business through growth and retention initiatives. Additionally, you will be trained to act as a consultant for families, evaluating their insurance programs and recommending the most appropriate coverages to fit their everchanging needs.

    BENEFITS Compensation - Salaried position with commission/bonus structure and benefits package.

    RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNT MANAGER DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    ▪ Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to help the customer identify specific products and solutions

    ▪ Solicit, sell, and negotiate new business policies

    ▪ Manage segment of brokered business policies

    ▪ Review renewal business and identify appropriate follow-up action based on degree of change

    ▪ Cross-sell/up-sell products to existing customers

    ▪ Retain clients at point of cancellation

    ▪ Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, 

    complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken

    ▪ Assist with the annual review process by contacting customers and preparing personalized customer coverage recommendations based on customer’s needs.

    ▪ Prepare renewal packets for Producers

    ▪ Perform risk analysis and field underwriting

     

    REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:

    ▪ Well organized and detail oriented

    ▪ Customer focused

    ▪ Sales-minded and self-reliant

    ▪ Ability to meet individual performance metrics and goals

    ▪ Able to handle multiple tasks and see them to successful completion

    ▪ Works well with underwriters/companies

    ▪ P&C licensed

    ▪ Preferred 3 years of work experience within the industry or at minimum 5+ years of customer 

    service experience

    ▪ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    ▪ Ability to use professional vocabulary and grammar

    ▪ Keystroke 45 plus WPM with accuracy
