The Catering & Events Sales Manager brings in processes and achieves revenue goals with a priority area in catering by actively selling and upselling each business opportunity. The Catering & Events Sales Manager drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each experience. The Catering & Events Sales Manager should have successful experience in Customer Service and Food & Beverage, with recognized strength in account maintenance, strong record of achievement providing catering/event development, product and service sales, management/operations experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    MUST HAVE hospitality & food/beverage manager experience. A minimum of 5 years Upper Management in Catering Sales Management/ Event Management background and Social Media Marketing related required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Book small-large catering orders/events, ensuring that sales progress seamlessly and accurately by following established processes and procedures.

    • Closes sales by collecting client deposit/ payment and/ or signed a contract for events.

    • Confirm final billing accuracy prior to and then process the final bill/ invoice.

    • Consistently book repeat business by having a track record of long-term client relationships.

    • Thorough knowledge of sales techniques including strong closing skills and negotiation skills.

    • Ensures Guest satisfaction and maintains Guest relationships with consistent follow-up on service.

    • Ensure that catering events documentation progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.

    • Attends community events to promote brand awareness for catering in the community.

    • Gain and maintain an understanding of the overall market (e.g., competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc.) and sell against them.

    • Track record of strong prospecting efforts.

    • Managing and exceeding individual targets/ goals assigned by the management from cold-calling, prospecting new clients, nurturing existing clients, and guest satisfaction/ survey review.

     

    SALARY = Depending on Experience + Commission + Quarter Incentive + Yearly Bonus
