    HOW YOUR ROLE FITS INTO BOLDT:

    Provide overall management direction for a large major Healthcare project or multiple smaller projects, may develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, or geographical area. Reports to Senior Director. Makes decisions that can greatly impact corporate relationship with clients and profitability of projects. Acts without close supervision.

    Required Skills

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

    • Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads or subordinate Project Manager(s).
    • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of Boldt corporate policy.
    • Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client, A/E contacts and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
    • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent and Project Managers to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget, investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
    • Represent company in project meetings, assist in project labor relations activities/strategy meetings, etc.
    • Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.
    • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.

    Required Experience

    WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

    • Four-year Engineering degree or equivalent
    • Extensive (ten or more years) experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management required in the Healthcare Field.
    • Intermediate Microsoft O365 skills
    • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital; outstanding communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to position self to maneuver in confined or awkward spaces. The employee regularly is required to remain in a stationary position and move to access people or machinery or workspaces. Employee is occasionally required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas. The employee must regularly move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to travel (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation) and frequently performs work on-site at construction work sites. Specific abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently. The employee is required to be able to optimally communicate while on the job site and throughout the completion of duties.

    The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to maintain safety and prevent exposure to harmful materials. The environment for which this position functions may be exposed to prolonged loud noises and may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
