    HOW YOUR ROLE FITS INTO BOLDT: Our Marketing Manager leads the overall management and organization of our marketing plan to support the sales pursuit process including public relations, market research, branding, and planning within our Division’s in-house marketing team. A key part of this role includes leading a team and processes including the preparation of proposals, pre-qualification packages and presentations for the operating group.

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

    • Develop a high-performance marketing team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. 
    • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan. 
    • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics. 
    • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow and retention.
    • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications.
    • Partner with creative teams, other internal team members, and external agencies and vendors.
    • Drive sales results in an office that produces a high-volume of introductory packages, proposals, presentations, and other client submissions.
    • Lead and execute programs in a team environment using the most advantageous internal processes. 
    • Work with teams across the enterprise and externally. 
    • Coordinate and maintain data information for projects, team members, market sector and project statistics into data management systems. 
    • Lead assignments with effective planning skills to balance short-term priorities with long term strategic plan tactics and ensure timelines are met.
    • Direct marketing team in support of business events, industry award submissions and local campaigns to support awareness of Boldt in the local markets. 
    • Contribute to the development of strategic content to Boldt's external website, The Connector, social media, and other communication channels.
    • Identify and manage content (text and visuals) and produce various communications and marketing materials (firm collateral materials, proposals, website, newsletters, blogs, brochures, email marketing, and other materials); provides creative and innovative ideas, strategies, and tools/tactics.
    • Ensures all proposals and materials follow our guidelines and brand standards; communicate and enforce brand standards throughout the division.
    • Responsible for RFQ/P process.
    • Lead creation of interview materials, including PowerPoint, boards, leave behinds, placemats, etc.
    • In collaboration with corporate marketing: Support strategic social media initiatives including crafting content to improve user engagement and drive action across major social media outlets. Coordinate efforts to maintain a consistent message and appearance for our company enterprise wide.
    • Responsible for overall marketing staff training. Coordinate work commitments, quality of work product, and balancing of workload for Associates and Specialists. Drive team accountability for work results and provide consistent feedback for improvement.
    • Identify and coordinate opportunities for strategic involvement at local, regional conferences and at national conferences, with corporate; as well as Boldt's participation in local, regional, and national industry groups.
    • Vet sponsorship and advertising requests, then coordinate the execution.
    • Work with clients to plan celebratory events.
    • Maintain an events calendar 
    • Find stories for project pursuits from projects and division. Feed stories to corporate marketing for social media and internal communications.

    Required Skills

    WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
    • Proficient in Adobe, Outlook, and Microsoft Office products, particularly in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Illustrator knowledge.
    • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals and strong project management skills; experience building sophisticated marketing programs and reporting on results.
    • Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods.
    • Proven mentoring and teaching abilities, managerial skills including leading a team, providing feedback and development opportunities.
    • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and composition as well as oral communication.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
    • Highly organized with ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment on multiple priority projects with tight deadlines.
    • High degree of energy, enthusiasm, tenacity, and creativity.
    • Self-starter and results driven.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to effectively communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.

    The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
