  • Responsibilities
    1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

    2. Follow standards and procedures for configuration of security devices adhering to policies and templates---Devices include Firewalls, VPNs, IPS, Web Proxy, SIEM, Anti-Malware, DLP

    3. Follow Incident Handling procedures (This includes monitoring as well as post-incident follow up)

    4. Documentation of environment (Assets) (This includes networks, devices: servers, workstations)

    5. Documentation of security systems: Firewalls, Web Proxies, IPS rules, Anti-Malware/DLP policies

    6. Development and maintenance of Security Policies and Procedures

    7. Risk Analysis and Management concerning computer security

    8. Assist in Blue Team/Red Team exercises

    9. Meet regularly with Security Team, Manager Network Infrastructure, Director of Network Services, CIO, and Governance committee to discuss projects, incidents, and state of security environment

    10. Ensure all changes are made in accordance with McLeod change control, security, and risk assessment policies.

    11. Participates in support call rotations

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:

    1. Customer service oriented and customer service experience required.
    2. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of non-technical users, managers, directors, and executive leadership in a creative, matrix organization
    3. Multi-tasker who able to work effectively on a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadlines
    4. Believes in sharing knowledge for the overall benefit of the team. Passionate about their work and understands how it fits into the business operations. Takes an initiative in improving themselves and the work processes
    5. Able to translate business requirements into workable solutions and solve potentially complex problems

    7. Experience in a hospital or Integrated Health Network Information Systems environment
    8. Working Knowledge of Security Concepts / Domains / Tools
    9. Preferred Knowledge of Cisco ASA/IPS, McAfee, EPO/SIEM/WebGateway, StealthWatch
    10. Working Knowledge of Networking Concepts
    11. Working Knowledge of Linux
    12. Programming Skills: Preferred Scripting Languages (BASH, Python, Powershell)
    13. Knowledge of Industry Regulations: HIPAA and PCI.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant work-related experience with high school diploma/GED required.

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

    • Support all estimating functions for projects including preparation and oversight of project estimates, risk and opportunity evaluation, communicating with the customer through-out the bid and close-out processes, implementing pricing strategies, cooperating with subcontractors, ensuring correctness and accuracy of estimates, and compiling consolidated estimates.
    • Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
    • Collaborate with Labor Relations to ensure accurate labor rates, craft jurisdictional assignments, and labor attraction incentives are used in each estimate.
    • Participate in the presentation of project estimates and budgets to project partners, internal and external.
    • Ensure accurate evaluation and documentation of project scope.
    • Lead the bidding process including subcontractor bid solicitation, communications, proposals evaluations, bid tally sheet preparation and bid analysis.
    • Perform comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects.
    • Prepare and send out bid documents and Instructions to Bidders to successfully procure and buyout projects and smooth transition and turn-over to project managers and ensure subcontractors are prequalified prior to bidding and contracting with Boldt.
    • Provide technical and leadership support to other estimators in the department.
    • Assist procurement personnel during bid solicitation and evaluation on purchased and rented items.
    • Perform estimating activities for a multitude of projects, large and small, across the National Power & Industrial group.
    • Other duties, responsibilities, or activities may be assigned at any time.
