The ASSISTED LIVING DIRECTOR manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.

WHAT WILL I DO EVERY DAY?

• Complete accurate and regular resident assessments and determine the appropriate level of care
• Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
• Supervise and administer all resident medications
• Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
• Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
• Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
• Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing to ensure quality of care
• Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
• Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• Be a great team player
• Be a progressive and creative thinker
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Three to five years of supervisory experience
• Registered Nurse preferred
• BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
